About us

The Institution of the Good Samaritan Sisters is an institute of the diocesan right, founded by the Late Emmanuel Cardinal Kiwanuka Nsubuga, in 1978. Her Mother House and headquarters are located at Nalukolongo; a suburb in the Archdiocese of Kampala, Uganda.
Bakateyamba Home in the Uganda language

This Home for the disabled commonly known as Mapeera Bakateyamba’s Home Nalukolongo was aimed to assist the needy of society such as the blind, lame, aged, destitute among others. The enthusiasm to find such a Home devolved from the Late Cardinal’s visits. The Founder
The Late Emmanuel Cardinal K. Nsubuga founded the Institute of the Good Samaritan Sisters of Nalukolongo in 1978. He was inspired by the ardent desire to attend to the needy and destitute children and the elderly he then founded the Mapeera Bakateyamba Home at Nalukolongo.
